Making progress, but still in the early days!

Well I am pleased to say, when I got home from work last night (8pm), I put my little boy to bed, had dinner, replied to emails and then set up our Facebook Page!
When I signed off at 11.30pm, the page had 1 liker (me), and just got home now in between supermarket etc, and going to work at 4pm, and we have 12 Likers! Not bad progress I think.

I also found this cute picture on google images, and added my details to it. Do you like it? I'm not very good at designing things, so will need to get someone to make me a unique one asap.

I sat down and "liked" a lot of pages relevant to what I am trying to achieve, and many have come back and reciprocated, so I am very pleased about that.

Still early days, so please continue to tell friends/family members who are Work at Home Parents about this free service, they can join up on Facebook, and/or here. This page is intended to be the main part of it, so that any blog updates will be added, and showcased for special editions or new members joining up. That said, Facebook/Website members are also welcome, you will just need to Facebook me or email me and I will do this for you. You just need to keep in mind that those updates are automatic, however I will update them as soon as I am able, in between working part time, keeping other blogs going... OH, and being a mum to a 19month old! (and a wife, I guess!)

But looks like we are getting up and going, and I am so stoked to have you all joining me on this new adventure.

Sorry, people. Things have been more than a little crazy here. But I am now going to be posting and looking for new members via the Facebook Page Supporting NZWAHMs. I didn't want to go stepping on any toes setting up a new similar page when a friend runs that one! But she is happy for me to go ahead, and even offered to make me an Admin on her page, to help get this up and running, which is super nice!


So I will get more going hopefully tonight, and get the Facebook Page up and running. Trying to do a little "logo" for the blog and the FB page, but am severely lacking in knowledge here, so if anyone has any ideas, just something simple, I like "cadbury purple" :) 


Will write more later, but please continue to spread the word to other WAHPs you think might be interested in joining us.

First Post - So here we are...

Hi!
I have been pondering through some ideas lately, trying to decide what I can do to fill up the last few remaining bits of my spare time, and I decided that since I love blogging so much, I would add another one to my list!

The aim of this page is to show case the products and services of New Zealand Work at Home Mums, via a regular blog update. Blogging has really taken off recently and so is a great opportunity to have a whole lot of like-minded people in one place, to increase everyones traffic to their pages, and in turn - increase sales for them.

If you would like to be involved and have your blog added to this, please use the Email Tab above. I will post an initial "meet and greet" post about pages as people join up, and then update as you update your page. I am yet to figure out how to have this happen automatically so for now you will have to have me updating it manually for you!

If you do not have an actual blog going, please feel free to still Email Me as I am looking at setting up a seperate tab to advertise facebook pages etc.
