I've got a area on my site called the "Knowledge Base" where you can find Directories, Tutorials, and a range of business oriented information like offline marketing ideas & strategies etc.
If you need help with anything feel free to ask away on my Facebook Page or pop by the MommaBytes website and jump on Live Help I'm on there a lot offering free advice, help and assistance.

New Member Added - Serene from Crochet.Is.Style (Auckland)

I am a mother of two young ladies, ages 5 and 7 years old. I learned to crochet from my mom and love to do it in my free time. I was born and grew up in Singapore, a small but modernised country in Asia. My husband and I took the plunge last year and applied for Permanent Resident visas for ourselves and our two girls to seek a better lifestyle in New Zealand. We were awarded the visas last month and my husband has already moved to Auckland to start on his new job. I will be moving with our girls to join him in Auckland in October 2011. I have hopes to develop this small crochet online business so that, I can truly be a work at home mom and be able to take care of my family as we settle down in New Zealand.
I like to crochet items for children and babies as their items can be really cute, colourful and cheery! At the moment, I've started with a range of crochet hats/beanies for our dear little ones. I am constantly dreaming up new designs and will continue to build up my treasury of items. At some point, I may branch out to crochet items for adults too!

New Member Added - Cheryl from Tutu Petite (Wellington)

I began Tutu Petite with my dear friend in 2009 and took over the complete reins when she headed down another avenue later that year. I pride my business on making the most fullest and fluffiest tutus you can find of their kind in NZ. I also keep my prices low but it never compromises the fullness of the tutu or the quality.

I hand make gorgeous full, soft and fluffy tutus and tutu dresses for girls aged 0-100!
I also hand make tutus and dresses for flower girls and special occasions.
I sell accessories to match the tutus such as hats, headbands, handmade fabric wings and wands. The wings are my own design and are generally one of a kind. They have no bones or wires to snap but they keep their shape beautifully.

New Member Added - Kate from Stroll-Smart NZ

My name is Kate Anderson I am a SAHM of two gorgeous boys (1 year and 3.5 years). Before I started this business I was a child health nurse but decided to resign and stay at home with my boys! I LOVE playing with them and watching them grow, something I would definitely have missed had I gone back to work!
I discovered the Stroll-smart adaptor after the birth of my second boy, I started getting into running, but found pushing the buggy while I did this quite tricky! I found the US website, ordered one, loved it so much I asked them if I could become a NZ/Australasia distributor! And its just gone on from there! The Stroll-smart adaptor is a handsfree adaptor for strollers. It attaches to the handle bar, wraps around the users waist enabling the user to run/walk handsfree!!!! YAY!
You can see Stroll-Smart NZ's Facebook Page here.
And the USA website, which I am being added to, is www.stroll-smart.com

New Member Added - Lorraine from Wish Upon a Star (Wellington)

Hi, I'm Lorraine from Wish Upon a Star.  Primarily, I'm a SAHM to a gorgeous 1 year old boy, Samasoni who is truly the light of my life.
I started my party supply business after I was made redundant whilst on maternity leave.  I found planning my sons birthday very time consuming with the minefield of different websites out there and the varying costs for same products depending on which site your were looking at.  I longed for just one site where I could get everything I needed or at least ask some questions and be helped in finding what I needed.  So I decided to create one.

Ok, so it's not an original concept and there are a lot of big players out there that I'm competing with.  However, I do offer unique themes not sold by anybody else in New Zealand, the opportunity to discuss one on one your needs or party woes, options for cost saving and still theming a party and easy payment options.

In short, I save busy parents (grand-parents, aunties etc etc) time and money, provide a quick, friendly and personal service.  I might also save you your sanity by not losing yourself in the www for days!
I openly welcome feedback on my site, products and anything else that you want to feed back on.  I can be contacted via the website or Facebook.

Wish Upon A Star can be found both on their website: www.wishuponastar.co.nz
And also on their Facebook Page

New Member Added - Suzi from A Word To The Wise

I'm Suzi from A Word to the Wise. I started these words and letters for fun about 5 years ago and have just started a small home business. I have a 10 month old, Addi, who is my light and laughter. I have Endo and PCOS, and my mum has had M.S since I was 2, so I know a lot about things that a typical 20 year old wouldn't. I'm keen to 'go with the flow' and chat personally with my customers as to what they want; what their decor is like and/or what their wee ones are in to. I take pride in every item I make, so would never sell or GIVE anyone something I am not happy with. I'm based in Christchurch and have been all over the world, seen 'enough' to know 'enough' about life and experienced more than my fair share of heartache. So, it is up to me and only me to get back into happiness and this is where it starts; at my table with my Noo crawling around beside me. Who wants to join me on my journey? :)
A Word To The Wise has a Facebook Page, which you can see here.

New Member Added - Smylee from Smylee Photography (Auckland)

My name is Smylee. And yes, That is my real name. I have very creative parents! :) And I am an Auckland based Photographer.
Photography is a passion to me. Given my first camera when I was 9, I spent every vacation since then taking a million photos of people, nature and more, which helped building my creative side. Later I studied photography as a part of my University curriculum, this helped me understand the technical side of it too.
I specialize in baby/children photography. As a Mother to a gorgeous two year old girl, I have come to realize that children grow up in a blink of an eye. and that it is very important to capture the present.
To me, every photo should have a story to tell. Every photo carries a moment that has been captured for ever. And thats where I come in, to capture that particular moment of your life in a way so special that it will remain special forever! :)

Smylee Photography's website is here.
And the Facebook Page is here.

New Member Added - Jessica from Weepals

My name is Jessica and I am a stay at home mum to an 11 month old little girl.

Weepals stickers are fun characters to help children with toilet training. Our sticker can be placed at the bottom of the potty or at the back of the toilet to help boys (of all ages) aim correctly.

  • Aim at the sticker to keep your toilet cleaner. Fun for all ages
Simply apply weepals sticker inside toilet or potty and aim away.
The image will appear with an accurate warm wet hit. (as shown left)
The character will disappear and return to its original hidden picture after flushing or rinsing.

  • weepals challenge everyone to aim,
keeping your toilet area clean and hygienic
  • weepals encourage potty and toilet training
  • weepals teach all ages how to aim successfully
  • weepals will withstand cleaning from most
    brushes and detergents

New Member Added - Daina and Georgie from CoochyCoo Ltd (Manawatu)

CoochyCoo is run by two WAHM's (Daina & Georgie) from the Manawatu.  Starting small with a range of 'industrial-strength' bibs for reflux babies (yes this was from personal experience and desperate need), we now also stock our own fabulous line of NZ-made merino clothing.  With 4 children between us (and one more on the way) as well as large numbers of nephews & nieces, we have no shortage of models to test out our new creations on :)

Last year we also launched CoochyKid, selling merino fabric & other sewing notions to cater for those who prefer to make their own.  Finally, we also stock an extensive range of New Zealand souvenirs for the whole family - these make great gifts to send to friends & family overseas and are equally good for those wishing to support our national sports teams here in NZ.

CoochyCoo's Website Page is www.coochycoo.co.nz
And their Facebook Page is http://www.facebook.com/CoochyCooLtd
